Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Trigga ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Service

Trigga is an independent mobile companion application for n8n, the open-source workflow automation platform. Trigga is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to n8n GmbH. The App connects directly to your self-hosted or cloud n8n instance to provide monitoring, management, and analytics services.

4. How the App Works

Trigga acts as a thin client that communicates directly with your n8n instance using the API key you provide. All workflow and execution data is fetched directly from your n8n instance to your device — Trigga does not proxy, relay, or store your n8n data on any intermediary server. Your API key is stored exclusively in your device's native encrypted keychain (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and is never transmitted to Trigga's infrastructure.

5. Account & Access

An account is required to use the App. You can create an account using email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in. An account enables subscription management and settings preferences.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your n8n API credentials and any account information used with the App. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

6. Credential Security

Your n8n API key is stored using your device's native encrypted storage (Expo Secure Store backed by iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) with WHEN_UNLOCKED_THIS_DEVICE_ONLY access level. The API key is injected into requests at the time of each API call and is never:

  • Transmitted to Trigga's servers or any third-party service
  • Stored in plain text or in unencrypted storage
  • Synced to cloud services (including Firebase)
  • Logged or included in crash reports

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features of the App require a paid subscription ("Trigga Pro"). By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you select) and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat and is subject to the respective store's terms and conditions.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Subscriptions).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to Pro features until then.
  • Refund policies are governed by the respective app store (Apple or Google).
  • A lifetime purchase option may also be available as a one-time, non-recurring payment.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
  • Use the App to transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the property of Trigga and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes. The n8n name and logo are trademarks of n8n GmbH.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Trigga is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Your n8n workflow data, execution results, and API credentials are never stored on Trigga's servers. Only your authentication credentials and settings preferences are stored in Firebase. Anonymous product analytics are collected via PostHog to help us improve the App. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

  • n8n — Workflow automation platform (your instance, your data)
  • Firebase (Google) — Account authentication and settings storage
  • RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management
  • PostHog — Anonymous product analytics

We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or security of third-party services. Your use of n8n is governed by n8n's own terms of service.

12. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the App under Settings. When you sign out or delete your account, Trigga performs comprehensive data cleanup: all API keys are removed from secure storage, all cached data is cleared, and all account data is deleted from Firebase (authentication record and Firestore documents). This process is immediate and irreversible.

13. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. Trigga is not responsible for the operation or availability of your n8n instance.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trigga shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, workflow execution failures, or business interruptions.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
